Pentathlon to celebrate UAE National Day in Dubai

For the first time ever, Dubai First will host a modern pentathlon event in Dubai called the Emirati Endurance Pentathlon to mark the 40th anniversary of the United Arab Emirates.

Competitions will be held taking into account the Emirate culture and historical heritage, and will consist, respectively, of five stages. Teams from each of the seven emirates of the federation will be invited to participate in the pentathlon, which will become, in a way, standards that promote a healthy lifestyle in the country. Pentathlon participants will compete in such traditional sports for the UAE as rowing on Emirate wooden boats, diving for pearls, horse racing, climbing palm trees for a while and archery. Competitions will be held in the Jebel Ali area in the second half of November.

It is pleasant to note that spectators will be able to come to the competitions with their families and combine fun and walks in the fresh air throughout the day. For children, playgrounds and attractions will be prepared, and for guests who come to "cheer" for the participants of the competition, Emirate cuisine and drinks.
