Vladimir Putin received Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in the Kremlin

Vladimir Putin discussed with the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi the cooperation of the Russian Federation and the UAE in the fight against terrorism.

Dubai, UAE. Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed in the Kremlin with Crown Prince Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, cooperation between the Russian Federation and the UAE in the fight against terrorism.

"It is very important to timely exchange information with you about the situation in the region, to talk about what we can do together in the fight against international terrorism," the Russian leader addressed the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

Muhammad Al Nahyan agreed with the relevance of this topic. "There are many challenges in the Middle East region, and I expect to discuss them today," he said.

Putin also suggested charting plans for economic cooperation. “Over the past year, we have generally managed to overcome negative trends in mutual trade,” he said. The President of Russia noted that Moscow attaches great importance to the development of relations with the UAE, and this cooperation "is built on the basis of friendship and consideration of mutual interests."

The Crown Prince has confirmed that Abu Dhabi is also committed to the further development of privileged relations with Russia.
