Abu Dhabi International Airport Increases Passenger Flow During Summer

Abu Dhabi International Airport Services expects an increase in passenger traffic this summer.

According to the predicted data, passenger traffic will increase from 5 to 8% during the summer period compared to the season of the previous year. Experts claim that approximately 7 million passengers will pass through the airport.

The first peak in the increase in departing passengers coincides with the start of school holidays in the UAE and the holiday of Uraza Bairam and will last until July 15. As for passengers flying into the country, the maximum load is expected from August 15 to September 10.

The current chief operating officer of Abu Dhabi airports, Ahmed Al Shamsi, said in this regard: "By monitoring the expected passenger flow in the coming period, we together with Etihad Airways will be able to train the maximum number of employees at airports." “We coordinate our work with the police, migration and customs services to best meet the needs of passengers.”
