A woman from Abu Dhabi was arrested after a dead baby was found in the toilet of an airplane. Presumably she gave birth to him during the flight.
On Sunday, January 7, a woman was arrested in Indonesia who reportedly gave birth to a child aboard an Etihad airline from the UAE, flying from Bangkok to Jakarta.
A 37-year-old woman of Indonesian descent worked in Abu Dhabi for four years.
It is reported that approximately four hours after take-off, the woman began to bleed. Because of this, the captain decided to turn around to Bangkok.
The plane went to Jakarta an hour later, after a woman was received by a medical team in Bangkok. She herself went home on a later flight.
Later in Jakarta, officers found a dead child wrapped in a plastic bag in one of the toilets of the plane. The cause of death of the baby has not yet been established.
