In the UAE created a portrait of the country's founder of solar-powered lamps

Students in the UAE created a huge portrait of the country's founder of two and a half thousand lamps powered by solar energy.

Dubai, UAE. In Abu Dhabi, students compiled a portrait of the country's founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, from 2500 solar-powered lamps.

The initiative dedicated to the Year of Zayed belongs to the organizing committee of the Zayed Future Energy Prize.

The action was attended by 282 students from all emirates. Within 30 minutes, they listened to the world's largest lesson on sustainable development and energy conservation, which will be included in the Guinness Book of Records. The lesson was conducted by Illak Angelo Diaz, executive director of the non-profit organization Liter of Light, winner of the 2015 award.
