Air Arabia Airlines conducted a familiarization tour to the Chechen Republic for representatives of UAE travel companies.
Heads of travel companies engaged in the development of outbound tourism from the United Arab Emirates visited the Chechen Republic. The visit was supported by Air Arabia, which launched direct scheduled flights on the Sharjah - Grozny route in April 2018.
During the five days of their stay, travel agents examined the number of rooms and examined the main natural attractions of the Chechen Republic. Among the city's attractions, guests were impressed by the Walk of Fame memorial, the Heart of Chechnya mosque, and the Flower Garden.
Travel agents stayed at the Grozny City hotel, but visited resorts and hotels such as The Local Hotel, Grozny Sea, Berkat, Shali City complexes and the city of Argun, where the first high-tech mosque in the Caucasus was built .
Guests also visited the Sernovodsk-Kavkazsky health resort, visited the Nihaloy waterfalls in the Argun gorge, where they made extreme jumps from the recently opened bungee, as well as the “pearl” of Chechnya - Kezenoy Am Lake, where water tourism and the Kezenoy Hotel resort are actively developing .
According to the head of the Chechen Committee on Tourism, Muslim Baitaziev, in the near future the republic plans to increase tourist flow by 10 times. If today about 150 thousand tourists visit Chechnya annually, then soon the figure will increase to 1.5 million people, which is equal to the population of the republic.
In many ways, increasing the tourist flow will be facilitated by the increase in the capacity of the Veduchi ski resort and the opening of a military sports tourism complex in Gudermes.
