Dubai "grows" the world's largest flower flag

The municipality of Dubai plans to decorate the city with 43 flowerbeds in the colors of the national flag in honor of the 43rd anniversary of the country's formation, which will be celebrated on December 2 this year. It is expected that the project will also qualify for a world record and mention in the Guinness Book of Records.
Dubai already has a similar successful experience - for the first time, flowers were used to create welcome inscriptions in Arabic and English in 1986 during the chess Olympiad. And in preparation for the competition for the Expo 2020, several transport interchanges of the city were decorated with blooming flags and the logo of the exhibition. The Expo 2020 logo consisted of 27,240 plants covering an area of 908 square meters. m
